Well, that couldn’t be more far from the TRUTH. Did you know that these products can make you put on MORE weight?

Be warned: If you choose to include these “low fat” or  “no fat” products in your weight loss plan… you may struggle to lose that unwanted weight.

So, forget about what many “experts” say, about dietary fat being evil. If the truth be told, you must have fat to keep your body in a healthy state… even if you’re on a weight loss plan!

And, that’s because your body needs fat not only to support healthy cell growth… but it also helps to protect your organs.

Plus, the fat helps to absorb certain important nutrients… such as vitamins A, D, E and K. Also, your nerves need fat, which helps to form the protective layer that covers them.

I know that it may sound strange, that including fat in your diet HELPS you to lose weight. Yet, one critical thing you must remember when having fats is this…

Studies have shown that specific fats including trans fats and some saturated fats… are bad for your health, as well as your waistline! And, it’s these type of fats that can be found in foods such as… processed meats, crackers and cookies.

I’m over hearing a lot of the mainstream health “experts” putting a bad light on fruit … as a result of the sugar it contains. And, because of this, they recommend you cut fruit out from your diet… especially if you want to lose weight effectively.

Yet, it’s words like those that frustrates me, as this is so far from the truth. Plus, it makes me even more irate when those “experts” say… “low fat” or “no fat” foods help you to lose weight. 

In fact, it’s made more people put on unwanted weight… and making you feel unhappy about how you look and feel.

For example, there’s a massive difference between processed sugar in sodas… versus natural sugars in fruit. And, I’ll explain that a bit later to you. 

So, there are particular fruits that even though they contain natural sugars… they will speed up the fat burning process, and help to fix a weight loss plateau.

All types of fruits will give your body benefits… by supplying it with many vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. Yet, there’s one category of fruits that are amazing for this as well as for weight loss… 

And, they are CITRUS FRUITS.

Apart from providing fiber, which burns more calories when it’s being processed… citrus fruits also help to stabilize your blood sugar. And, it’s this that helps to stop you from binging on those bad foods… that sabotage your weight loss efforts.

Also, inflammation has been shown to trigger the body to store more fat… as well as accelerate the aging process. Yet, citrus fruits have been shown to have an alkalizing effect on the body… meaning it they help to reduce inflammation, and combat the storage of fat.

Plus, a common condition that can make your weight loss stall is stress. Stress has been shown to not only increase the fat storage on your body… but even more around your belly.

So, when you stress out the body releases certain fight-or-flight hormones… such as cortisol. And, when you keep stressing your cortisol production stays high… so your body will stay in a fat storing mode.

And, the problem with that is… your body has more cortisol receptors around your abdomen. So, this is one of the main reasons you may struggle to lose belly fat. 

Yet, this is where the power of citrus fruits can help in your weight loss plan... and to help fix your weight loss plateau. The high Citamin C levels in citrus fruits helps to reduce the production of the fat storing hormone, cortisol.

Research studies have shown that where there are higher levels of vitamin C found in the blood… the lower the person’s body fat. And, that’s because of the vitamin C’s ability to oxidize fat cells effectively.

Research has also shown that a lot of people have impaired liver function. This can be as a result of a range of issues from dietary habits… through to the lifestyle choices people make.

Did you know that… you don’t have to work out for hours every day to lose weight effectively? In fact, by working out less you can burn more body fat.

Unfortunately, back in the 1980’s when long cardio workouts became popular… this advice of exercising for longer has stuck and is still around today. 

I’m sure you’ve been at a gym and seen lots of people sweating it out on the treadmill… or doing long drawn out group training classes.

Yet, they may find it challenging to change their body shape… let alone lose the weight they want. 

Plus, it’s said that… the long endurance type workouts can produce more stress in the body. Remember what I said earlier… a high production of the stress hormone, cortisol, is NOT what you want, especially when on a weight loss plan.

Yet, you may not realize that your body is efficient at adapting to situations you put it in. And, this is particularly true when it comes to exercising. 

Think back to the last time you began an exercise campaign to help lose that unwanted fat … You may remember waking up the next morning, with your body feeling sore.

Then, after a few more days the body soreness reduces. And, after more time passes there’s no soreness. That’s because your body adapts to what you’re doing… and is able to do those exercises without problems.

Yet, this is where your current exercise routine can result in your weight loss stalling.

Now, there are smarter ways to exercise… and have been scientifically proven to burn a more fat in less time of the so called “traditional” workouts. I’ll go into that more later on.
